Are you a proficient off-piste skier looking for something more challenging on skis? Can you do kick turns on 35 degree slopes? Have you got time to train from January through to March 2007 and then take a week off?
Importantly, does this sound like inspiring way to make some positive changes in your life? If any challenge can, the Haute Route can.
The Haute Route is exceptional for linking two of the great mountain centres in Europe, Chamonix and Zermatt. You start underneath Mt Blanc (the highest summit in Western Europe) and finish in the shadow of the Matterhorn. In between, you work your way through a myriad of famous glaciers, summits, huts and mountain villages.

The tour is a serious undertaking, over six days and six nights, skiing from one mountain refuge to another with mechanical uplifts in Argentiere and Verbier.
